Christopher Reher Re-Elected as Chair of BVDW Data Economy Department
Platform161 MD for Germany Christopher Reher has been re-elected as Chair of the BVDW‘s Data Economy Department.
Semasio MD Anna Schenk was voted in as a new vice-chair, while Mark Elsner of Echte Liebe and Tobias Wegmann of PREX were also re-elected as deputies.
The BVDW is the German Association for the Digital Economy – is the voice of the digital economy, representing the interests of the digital business towards politics and society. It campaigns for the creation of market transparency and framework conditions that encourage innovation.
Reflecting the Success of Platform161 in Germany
Data is the basis for innumerable value-added processes in the digital economy. BVDW’s Data Economy Department aims to promote the cross-divisional cooperation of various stakeholders in the field of data and establish an interest representation for the data economy at both national and European level. The goal is to ensure, with fair market conditions and data and consumer protection, that digital business can operate successfully.
